The Architecture of Rebirth is my debut into the electronic world. It came out of a rough period of my life; my 50’s yielded 3 major surgeries, and about a year after the third, I was starting to sink. For some reason I got online and started listening to new music, and found much that inspired and interested me, which led to downloading Ableton. Once I did that, music started pouring out of me, and simultaneously I found the sinking feeling lift; a rebirth in so many ways.

Though I’m known for producing and engineering punk rock bands (I produced Energy by Operation Ivy and engineered Insomniac by Green Day and countless other things), doing something different felt like the fresh start I needed.

Sometime in the next few months I’ll be releasing a companion album of vocal songs that is related to this album; it’s almost finished, though hey, it’s been almost finished for a while now. I’ve also gone back into studios producing rock bands, which feels amazing to do now.

Though this is about a difficult time in my life, this is about finding my strength and joy, about becoming a better person, about the beauty of growing and living. I appreciate you stopping by.
